The Grand Seiko Heritage Collection Ref. SLGH009G was released in 2022 to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the iconic 44GS design, a case architecture that helped define the visual identity of Grand Seiko. Limited to just 550 pieces worldwide, this special edition combines the brand’s signature finishing with one of its most advanced modern movements.

Nicknamed the “Orbit,” the watch features a deeply textured blue dial inspired by the motion of celestial bodies. As light moves across the surface, the intricate pattern reveals remarkable depth, further enhanced by sharply Zaratsu polished hands and indices that provide crisp contrast and exceptional legibility.

The 40mm case is crafted from Ever Brilliant Steel, offering enhanced corrosion resistance and a brighter luster than traditional stainless steel. Inside beats the in house Hi Beat Calibre 9SA5, operating at 36,000 vibrations per hour while delivering an impressive 80 hour power reserve. Presented in excellent condition with its full set, this limited edition stands as a compelling modern Grand Seiko collector’s piece.
